The time intervals between the succession of events: stopping of a π+ meson in a stilbene crystal, πμ decay and μβ+ decay are used to identify the pulses produced by π+ mesons and to measure the mean life of the π+μ-decay. For this mean life we find (2.58±0.14) × 10-8 sec.
