Phys. Rev. A 53, 2948 - 2952 (1996)Solving some two-body dynamical problems in 〈ζ|-〈η| representation
Fan Hongyi
Chen Bozhan Received 17 July 1995 We use the common eigenvectors ‖ζ〉 of two particles’ center-of-mass position Xc=μ1X1+μ2X2 and mass-weighted relative momentum Pr=μ2P1-μ1P2, as well as the eigenvectors ‖η〉 of the other pair commutative operators X=X1-X2 and P=P1+P2 to solve the dynamics of two coupled oscillators. The coupling involves both interbond potential and kinetic coupling. This approach seems to be simple, convenient, and natural. © 1996 The American Physical Society. ©1996 The American Physical Society
