Phys. Rev. A 61, 043804 (2000) [5 pages]Squeezing in the Kerr nonlinear coupler via phase-space representation
Abdel-Baset M. A. Ibrahim, B. A. Umarov, and M. R. B. Wahiddin Received 16 June 1999; revised 14 September 1999; published 10 March 2000 Quantum-statistical properties of light propagating in a coupler with third order nonlinearity are investigated. The stochastic equations describing the dynamics of the system are derived in positive-P and Wigner representations. The possibility to generate quadrature-squeezed states is shown numerically. ©2000 The American Physical Society
