Phys. Rev. A 63, 020702 (2001) [4 pages]L2 K-matrix method for triply excited lithium
T. K. Fang and Kwong T. Chung
The saddle-point method is combined with the L2 K-matrix method to investigate total as well as partial photoionization cross sections and electron-ion elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections. This approach allows us to use highly precise initial state and final target state wave functions. The results obtained are sufficiently accurate for experimental energy and cross-section calibrations. As an illustration, we present the results near the Li 2s2s2p 2Po triply excited resonance. These results are used to recalibrate the recent high-resolution experimental spectra. ©2001 The American Physical Society
