Phys. Rev. A 66, 065802 (2002) [2 pages]Applications related to maximum intensity correlation of hard x rays
E. Ikonen Received 10 December 2001; published 20 December 2002 The maximum coincidence rate in intensity correlation experiments with hard x rays from a synchrotron radiation source is considered quantitatively. Special emphasis is given to a correction that is caused by path-length differences from asymmetric Bragg reflections in a monochromator. Applications of such intensity correlation measurements are suggested. ©2002 The American Physical Society
