Phys. Rev. B 71, 073403 (2005) [4 pages]Melting temperature of screened Wigner crystal on helium films by molecular dynamics
J. A. R. da Cunha and Ladir Cândido Received 14 October 2004; published 4 February 2005 Using molecular dynamics simulation, we have calculated the melting temperature of two-dimensional electron systems on 240–500 Å helium films supported by substrates of dielectric constants ϵs=2.2–11.9 at areal densities n varying from 3×109 to 1.3×1010 cm−2 . Our results are in good agreement with the available theoretical and experimental results. ©2005 The American Physical Society
