We have measured the angular and momentum distributions of the scattered pions from the reaction 12C(π+, π+d)10B in a coincidence experiment. We compare our results with two theoretical models based on the impulse approximation. We also present some data on the reactions 12C(π±, π±t)9B.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(π±, π±d)10B, 12C(π±, π±t)9B, Eπ=130, 150 MeV; measured σ(p), σ(θ), compared with PWIA.
