The excitation function of positive pions produced at 90° by protons on Copper has been studied to get information on the long-standing problem of the existence of a narrow resonance near 350 MeV incident energy. Momentum spectra of π+ were measured by the CLAMSUD magnetic spectrometer. A narrow resonance has been indeed observed, in agreement with previous results obtained in different laboratories during the past years.
