Phys. Rev. D 68, 085003 (2003) [9 pages]Threshold analyses and Lorentz violation
Ralf Lehnert Received 20 April 2003; published 7 October 2003 In the context of threshold investigations of Lorentz violation, we discuss the fundamental principle of coordinate independence, the role of an effective dynamical framework, and the conditions of positivity and causality. Our analysis excludes a variety of previously considered Lorentz-breaking parameters and opens an avenue for viable dispersion-relation investigations of Lorentz violation. ©2003 The American Physical Society
