Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, 1162 - 1165 (1998)Enhanced Three-Body Decay of the Charged Higgs Boson
Ernest Ma1, D. P. Roy1,2, and José Wudka1 Received 24 October 1997 If the charged Higgs boson H+ exists with mH+<mt+mb, the conventional expectation is that it will decay dominantly into cs̅ and τ+ντ. However, the three-body decay mode H+→W+bb̅ is also present and we show that it becomes very important in the low tanβ region for mH+≳140 GeV. We then explore its phenomenological implications for the charged-Higgs-boson search in top-quark decay. ©1998 The American Physical Society
