Schematic of an experiment to observe weak localization of seismic waves at the Puy des Goules volcano in France. Weak localization, not observed before in seismology, results from interference of multiply scattered waves in disordered media (such as the ground near a volcano). The wave source was a sledgehammer strike on a metal plate and the return waves were detected with geophones. [E. Larose, L. Margerin, B. A. van Tiggelen, and M. Campillo, Phys. Rev.
